You folks asked to add some of my pix to your collection awhile ago, I only just saw the (expired) request, request again if you want and I will approve.

done

and many thanks

Thank you so much for selecting one of my old mycological photos, i'm so proud!!

I used a Minolta camera until ten years ago, i'm not sure about the exact camera model but probably it should have been a Minolta X300 series one.

I still store a list of ancient photos of mushrooms made between 1997 and 2015 approx. May i update some of em from time to time to enjoy viewing em in DA.

The scanner i used was a canon MP140 But honestly, I think we didn't liked each other very much.

Cheers!

of course!!

our pleasure!

a neighbour of mine used the X700, always in Program mode, and I told him how to use aperture-value automatism with compensation etcetera. His pics became MUCH better hahaha.

Thanks ever so much for choosing to add some of my pics, it's awfully sweet of you.

Please note that the pics of me in blouse and hockey skirt, and a PVC dress, were both shot on Ilford Delta 100. They were also scanned using a Plustek OpticFilm 8300 and Silverfast SE software. Whereas, the one of me in maid's uniform was scanned with an old Nikon Coolscan scanner and ICE software.

myself have used (with bad results) a Canon 2700f scanner, then I changed to a coolscan 4000 + ICE, now I just put my slides in a slide copier and photograph them with a normal pentax K-5 (some 16mpix -sensor from chez Sony)

Sounds like a good solution. I had the Plustek scanner on loan from a publisher friend, but have bought one since. I've compared the scans to prints of the same negs, and it does seem to accentuate the grain, and any spots and scratches. Makes me wish I still had my darkroom. 😒
